Harmonised leads and riffs have always been an integral part of hard rock/ metal music since the 70s.

From Black Sabbath to Killswitch Engage, from The Eagles (????) to The Darkness, from Kiss to Cradle of Filth, most, if not all, metal guitarists have used harmonisation in their writing either sporadically or extensively.

Know more about harmonisation and also 'dissonation' ( is there such a word???) in this two hour edutainment show. Learn how to harmonised or 'dissonised' a riff using their corresponding 3rd, 5th or other notes.

Also catch 4 exciting SG metal bands ; SCAPHOIDS, THY FALLEN KINGDOM, DEUS EX MACHINA and CON.VER.GENCE demonstrate how harmonisation is used in their music.
