Prevailing taste
5th Februari 2010Hello kepada anda semua~ Been the longest time (years perhaps) since my fingers clicked into this website. Since si current (alah si dektu tu..) tu dah invite masok sini, i decided to blog openly saja2 nak share2 opinions/ideas. Heh.
As per the blog title, prevailing taste actually refers to fashion, the latest style, the chic & trendy look which comprises various concepts in the fashion industry. To top it all, fashion is something we deal every day. Well, I'm not a fashionista to begin with. I don't often use chunky bangles, stylish long/short necklaces and trendy earrings to match my outfit everytime. We do have our dress down days. Takkan nak dress to kill jer kan everyday? Oh I don't really read up magazines, blogs or any other sources to keep up to date to the latest fashion. Senang cakap, I'm not a fashion freak. BUT, i do appreciate fashion and often impressed by people who are able to carry that stylish look, even in just t-shirt & short with minimal accessories. Sometimes, simplicity beats it all. :)
Our dressing, the way we wear and what we wear actually depicts our personality; self expression towards others. How we dress aids to distinguish ourselves to the different lifestyle, profession, religion or attitude. However, i like to ogle at individuals who dress with an attitude. Turns me on big time. Haha!! But sometimes you need to know how to differentiate between fashion with an attitude and fashion disaster. Yang fashion disaster ni eh, kadang2 dia ingat dia style, tapi sebenarnya sumpah dia tak style. Kalau ada example, I will quote, mane tau siap ngn gambar sekali. Boleh kutuk2 eh.. Sukerk??? *roll eyes*
Okay.. back on track please... focus.. heh.
And so, from my humble opinion, it is a huge investment for those who are fashion conscious, who splurge on designer clothings seasonally. Orang2 yang go for label and names ni nampak sangat high class, ahli korporat yang gaji dorang satu bulan kan, boleh buat untuk setahun! Ape salah donate kepada fakir miskin mcm aku ni eh. lol! Yah, and so, next comes the middle class people who may be fashion conscious but not thaaaat picky towards labels. Lastly, for the budget conscious, kira kes sembarang amat, those who go for cheap buys but fashionable kinda thing, 2nd hand goods also tak kisah as long as its sleek and sassy on them. Errr.. I definitely fall in the last category though I do go for labels sometimes.*snorts* So, which category are you in?
I believe this is just an introduction squeezed out from my overly cluttered mind. Insya allah kalau ada mood, I will blab again here. :D
